I'd love to hear from you!

Are you interested in joining this lab? Dr. Rodrigues usually accepts students who will be connected with a specific research project. You can look for a position post on the Texas A&M job board or the ConBio job board, depending on the focus of the research project.

The Forestry & Environmental Conservation Department may have fellowship opportunities for prospective graduate students who have a truly excellent academic record. If you believe you are a strong candidate for one of these fellowships, get in touch and Shari will contact you immediately.

If you are interested in general graduate research:

1. Send an email describing your academic and professional background and why you are interested in working atthis lab. Outline your learning and research objectives as a graduate student and your professional goals.
2. Submit an up-to-date resume.
3. Include a copy (unofficial is fine) of your most recent transcript or summarize your undergraduate (and graduate if you already have a graduate degree) courses and grades.
4. Submit your GRE scores if you have taken them.

You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your materials if you include your email address with your applications. If you haven't received an acknowledgement, send a follow up email.
